#13 - Assured Annoyance
This morning my sister went from “orange alert” to “red alert” in the final stages of pregnancy, and I know everyone is excited about the next 24 hours in which we expect the baby to be born. So I am posting early in the event that I won’t have the opportunity to later tonight.Already a proud Uncle twice now, and soon to be again. Whew! There’s so much going on! So much positive… and so much worry too. A good friend of mine who is a member of Schoolgirls of the Apocalypse has literally been having a life and death struggle with cancer.
He’s so much tougher than I have any concept of, and we are all in his corner. Praying for him, and playing with him when the opportunity presents itself. Yeah, some of you know I play Lineage II. My parents and I formed a clan that we run together, and our clan is as strong as it is primarily because of the moral values we uphold in game, not to mention this fella, who I’ll refer to by his main toon, WolfeRikker.
If that name rings a bell to any fellow L2 players, just take a moment to pray for him. He’s a wonderful guy, a legitimate sweetheart. Speaking of his sweetheart, I hope this expression of concern helps. We can’t be there, but we’re here, as ridiculous as that sounds.
