#197 - Twenty Eight Days
I’m not sure what it is about the Government and delivery of crucial papers. I could be dying right now and it feels like that would not improve the priority of my Security Officer’s License. Yeah, hello - kinda need that to work, y’know? It’s not that I ever expected to become one…
However, it feel right. Intimidating people… being an authority figure without so much as a word. So far. The reactions I get are incredible to me. I read people - see the smirks, the glint in their eyes, the chastizement, the comfort, the disproval, the assesment of my physical characteristics.
What an interesting position to be in! How adventageous as a observer. It’s a very different perspective for me, and I admit very much enjoying it. Speaking of enjoyment… Shadow of a Hedgehog provided some lovely soundtracks for my personal listening pleasure. Well thankee… I have been a-wanting that kick tail Sonic Rush Original Groove Soundtrack for a-sometime now!
Great stuff! While I was at it I picked up Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 Soundtrack, and have been listening with mixed feelings. Impressive full orchestral presentation… but… a touch of power rangers? “We Ahre Teh Behst!” Well dearie-my! Some tracks are memorable, and wholly energetic… however, memories of Megaman Command Mission arise all too quickly.
While there is a good deal more intensity and audio polish, many tracks are terribly cheesy just forgettable. They lack the charm of the trademark Sonic style. Epics are all well and good, but the best epic never claimed to be one! Lord of the Rings - a good fall back - is merely the tale of a hobbit… “from here to there.” Life as usual!
Unless you’re missing the point, I’m saying that life IS the epic. Press ESC is life as usual. In this case it’s a crisis for Shiva, but that is part of life. Survival, and when possible, growth, and even some edification. Yep. Part and parcel the whole life gig.
